Just thought I needed an update today. DalRae and I spent Saturday together, looking through a second company’s selection of linoleum flooring for the kitchen. We found the same sample that we picked out with the first company, and had okayed with Mark. So, we’ll be using that, even though it is fairly boring. We also did a bunch of work around the house, and then I spent a , larger than planned, portion of the putting two bookshelves together and wiring up her entertainment unit. Ain’t I a nice guy?

I was fortunate to talk with cool three people this weekend as well. I called Damian on Friday night, now that he’s back from Kyrgyzstan, finally! He’s off to UWisconin in a few weeks, and is spending the interval catching up with friends. I spent a while talking to Wolfe on the phone on Friday as well, jabbering about Reason and other random goodness. I was pretty tired, so I don’t think I was all that coherent. And Matt called me on Sunday while he was driving back from visiting Kristin and attending a wedding. He seems to be doing well, and getting on with his life.

Also, I had to come into work late today because I had to meet the floor guy for an estimate. He suspects the plywood may need to replaced, which I’m sure will add to the cost. He’ll need to order the vinyl, so tha pushes the installation out till sometime next week. Oh well, time we got, sorta.
