I’m continually amazed at how I can never seem to finish some songs, yet others only take a few hours. This would fall into the latter category, I just started it yesterday.
Drem is a cute little village outside of Edinburgh, and is even closer to Gullane where I spent a number of summers as a kid. I always liked the place, and the name. Why on earth the name came to mind while writing this I have no idea, but I like it.

I like this! I don’t know anything about music so all I can really say is that it has a nice groove.

This is excellent. This is the sort of pre “Jesus Jones” tune that would go great in an ’80s movie. Perhaps “The Last Starfighter 2″? Certainly not Ghostbusters or anything of that ilk. I see this being used in a Michael Keaton movie, wherein he does a bit of self-exploration, and comes to term with his past. Around 3:20 he’d be running (either on his own or with other people). Between 4:15 and 4:25 this would fade out so he’d have more dialogue with other people.
Great tune…

This could have fit well in “Clean and Sober” (with Michael Keaton) or “Bright Lights Big City” (with Michael “J” Fox).

I loved this. Could you burn me a cd with a few of your music? My 2 year old loves dancing to it and I enjoy the music also. By the way, it’s August, you need to update your blog. How have you been? –Colleen
