[[imdb:0295297 Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets]] has the unfortunate role of a sequel to a wildy popular movie, as well as an adaptation of a ridiculously popular book. But it has the advantage of a completely returning cast, as well as crew.
The result is a really movie great movie. As the last movie setup gave us a broad overview all of the characters and setting, this movie can concentrate more on delving deeper. The writing and creativity, mostly due to the books from I understand, is really quite excellent. The imaginary world we are taken to is wonderful, delightful fodder for minds, young and old alike.
Some of the main character in the first movie take a back seat in this movie, but others get more attention in their place. The world is also a bit darker than it was in the last movie, there is blood this time. From what I read, this is also the case in the books, they get more and more adult as they grow up, arguably as it should be.
