Raeneac. I have no idea what the name means, it sort of has an industrial look to it I think.

I did a little wandering into the land of IDM / Glitch, a la Autechre, Jega, U-Ziq, etc. (No insult to implied by comparing this to their work.) It is kind of fun, although I don’t have all their arythmic stuff in me. I just don’t understand how those guys can change up the beat so often—the drums in mine are pretty much constant. But I did have three separate drum machines running, just so I could have lots of drum samples at hand.

I never found a B section to act as a counterpoint to the existing melody. As a result, this song is fairly short at 3:28. I had stuff jumping around on my desk when I turned this sucker up loud. The bass is fairly strong, and I think I must have hit my desk’s resonance frequency with all those bass hits. Heheh.
